Due to the increasing global severity of the novel coronavirus COVID-19, we have made the tough but necessary decision to cancel this year’s Hooked on Miracles Charity Fishing Tournament.
We know that the Mining and Mining Suppliers’ industry is facing a real challenging time during this pandemic, not only ensuring their employees are safe as we navigate through this uncharted territory, but also economically. It is important that all resources are aimed towards keeping our industry running, its workers safe and employed and helping the economy of British Columbia.
We are still very much committed to Mining for Miracles’ goal of raising $3.385 million for BC Children’s Hospital’s Cellular and Regenerative Medicine Center. Perhaps now more than ever we understand the need for cutting edge medical research.
We do hope that in 2021 we can welcome you back to Tofino for a weekend of fishing, networking, fun and fundraising.
